Una niña y su abuelo dan un paseo y se encuentran con unos animales súper increíbles que hacen cosas increíbles. El mono los invita a trepar a los árboles, el cocodrilo los invita a chapotear en el agua, la cebra los invita a bailar, el hipopótamo los deja levantar pesas con él, y el tigre los invita a jugar en la cama elástica. Cuando regresan a casa, la niña le cuenta a su abuela sobre su increíble día, pero la abuela no le cree, ¡hasta que todos los animales se presentan a cenar en la casa!

¡Este es un libro tan lindo! Durante la mayor parte de la historia, pensé que la niña y su abuelo solo estaban fingiendo hacer cosas con los animales, ¡así que fue una sorpresa divertida cuando todo resultó ser verdad!

A little girl and her grandfather take a walk and encounter some super incredible animals doing amazing things. The monkey invites them to climb the trees, the crocodile invites them to splash in the water, the zebra invites them to dance, the hippopotamus lets them lift weights with him, and the tiger invites them to play on the trampoline. When they return home, the little girl tells her grandmother about their amazing day, but the grandmother doesn’t believe her, until all the animals show up for dinner at the house!

This is such a cute book! Through most of the story, I thought the girl and her grandfather were just pretending to do things with the animals, so it was a fun surprise when it all turned out to be true!

I love the bright illustrations and the cute art style. The little girl and her grandfather are full of energy and fun!

Melba está emocionada de ver el gran desfile del Carnaval, pero pierde el autobús hacia la ciudad y tiene que caminar hasta la siguiente parada de autobús. En el camino se encuentra con un músico, un niño con una cometa, varios animales y una granjera con cajas de plátanos para el festival. El grupo van juntos al Carnaval y esperan no haberse perdido el desfile.

Me gustó la historia y los personajes divertidos. Melba a veces se desanima por los obstáculos que encuentra en el camino, pero sus nuevos amigos le dicen que se calme y busque nuevas formas de llegar al Carnaval. Me gustan los mensajes positivos sobre perseverar cuando las cosas van mal.

Las ilustraciones son brillantes y vívidas, y el estilo artístico es atractivo. ¡Los personajes se ven tan lindos y divertidos!

Melba is excited to see the big parade at Carnaval, but she misses the bus into town, and has to walk to the next bus stop. Along the way she meets a musician, a boy with a kite, various animals, and a farmer lady with crates of bananas for the festival. Together the group go to Carnaval together, and hope they haven’t missed the parade.

I liked the story and the funny characters. Melba is sometimes discouraged at the obstacles she encounters along the road, but her new friends tell her to be calm and look for new ways to get to the Carnaval. I like the positive messages about persevering when things go wrong.

The illustrations are bright and vivid, and the art style is attractive. The characters look so cute and funny!

Daniela and her seafaring friends are dismayed to see that a pirate crew of girls keep beating them to all the adventures. They rescue the mermaids, save a whale, stop a volcano from destroying a town, and they find the treasure before Daniela and her crew can get there. But when a huge storm threatens both ships, they will have to become friends to survive.

This is such a cute book. I love the fierce girls in both ships crews! The illustrations are adorable, and I love the exciting story. I appreciated the positive messages in this book about becoming friends, helping each other, and sharing the adventures together. The crayon art style is really cute, and every scene is full of action.
