Stabby the unicorn ends up stabbing everyone in the eye, and he gets jaded and dark and depressed. He can’t keep a job. He accidentally burst his birthday balloons with his horn. He is full of angst and anxiety. And it’s hilarious!

I have to admit, this book did make me laugh. But there were many parts that I couldn’t enjoy because of the profanity and and vulgarity and general disgustingness. I’m not sure why this is marketed as “teen and adult humor”. It’s definitely adult humor. I would never give this to a teen to read.

Oh my goodness, I adore this comic!! So much cuteness and hilarity!
Wallace and his best friend, Spud, meet the new girl at school, Amelia, and are very impressed with her courage and baseball-throwing style. Each page has its own funny little punchline as we follow Wallace’s strange interactions with friends and family at school, at home, on the ocean, on the field, through the summer and winter and all the in-between times.Wallace’s fisherman father, his creative mother, and weird baby brother make a delightful home setting for the antics and whimsical conversations of a little boy curious about the world and determined to dream big.
One of the best things about this comic is Wallace’s close relationship with his parents.

I thought this comic was funny, but did NOT appreciate the profanity and sometimes vulgar humor. Some of the good jokes were about feminine things like nail polish, dresses, and shaving; and some of it was normal social things like feeling awkward at parties. I liked most of it, but the profanity on a few of the pages ruined my enjoyment. I liked the cute artwork though!

Bwahahaha! So funny! So wonderful! I just love the hilarious antics of Heart and Brain. Each little comic is full of laughter and wit. And I love how even the Eyes, the Tongue, the Gallbladder, the Gut and Stomach, all play a part in the nonsense. The artwork is vibrant and fun, and each little panel brings something entertaining.
Love it!
The best thing about this comic is that the humor is clean and appropriate for all ages.

The Comedy of Errors

Two sets of twin baby brothers are cast adrift in a storm and wash up on shore in separate cities. When they are grown, they meet up again, not knowing of the others’ existence, and mistaken identities abound! One man’s wife mistakes him for his twin, and some creditors apply to the wrong twin for payment. The servants are totally confused, because they keep receiving conflicting commands from their masters.

While there are lots of hilarious situations, mix-ups, and puns and jokes galore, the plot is very straight forward with no surprises, and that made me a bit bored. It’s a very short play with a small cast of characters. It’s comedic fluff with not much of a story to it.

Maybe I’m just not in the mood for comedic fluff right now. Maybe if I saw it performed, it would be funnier, and I would enjoy it more. Reading a play is never the same as the real thing.

This story is all over the place, but I loved the random plot and the clueless characters! I can’t figure out if it’s a hilarious tragedy or a dark comedy, but I was certainly never bored.

In this play, King Leontes is suddenly struck with the erroneous belief that his wife, Hermione, is cheating on him with his childhood friend, King Polixenes. He descends into a form of madness, trying to assassinate his friend, publicly accusing his wife of being unfaithful, and sentencing his actual child (who he believes to be illegitimate) to death by exposure in the wilderness. And of course, all sorts of trouble ensues, because he has angered the god Apollo, who predicts that he will never have an heir to his throne until he finds his lost daughter again, who did not die of exposure.
