What I Read in November

These are the books I read in November! Eleven books in eleven minutes- I tried to keep the video as short as possible, but I get excited talking about books!

Just because a book is mentioned here does NOT mean that I recommend it. Some of these were great, some not so good, and some I didn’t even finish b/c they were just that awful.

Books mentioned in order:
The Storm Before Atlanta- Karen Schwabach
The Writing Life- Annie Dillard
The CaseBook of Sherlock Holmes- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Young Joan- Barbara Dana
Eidi- Bodil Bredsdorff
Things Not Seen- Andrew Clements
Knit One, Kill Two- Maggie Sefton
The First Two Lives of Lukas Kasha- Lloyd Alexander
Shadow Bridge- Gregory Frost
For Darkness Shows the Stars- Diana Peterfreund
Same Kind of Different As Me- Ron Hall and Denver Moore

Five Favorite Villains

This is a video about enemies! I got inspired to list my favorite fictional villains, b/c I saw one of my personal enemies at the store. I just ignored her, so as to avoid a confrontation. The Bible says to pray for our enemies and bless those that use us spitefully. Sometimes you can try to be friendly with people, but they are determined to make themselves an enemy, and all you can do is go on being nice to them, or stay out of their way if they are a destructive person.

Who are your favorite fictional villains? Do you have any “enemies” in real life? comment below~!

Book Packages Mailed out in Sept.

This is a list of the books I mailed out to MKs in September. The postage ended up being way more than I had anticipated. Apparently, if you send books internationally, you don’t get the regular Media Mail rate at the Post Office. Urgh.
So I’m having to pay for postage out of my own pocket right now. Please please DONATE at http://www.gofundme.com, so that we can keep the books flowing out to these kids around the world!
