MKs in Cambodia Love to Read!

These Missionary Kids in Cambodia received some books from Books for MKs and are reading the Mandie series, Star Wars, and Dr. Seuss.  These are some of my favorites too! I loved reading the Mandie series when I was a little girl, and it’s so fun to see another generation enjoying these stories.

These kids have excellent taste in books, and I love seeing the big smiles on their faces.  It’s so important for children to find books they enjoy and encourage their love of reading!

MKs in Argentina Receive Books

These MKs in Argentina have received some books and they love to read! Books for MKs sent them a gift card to use at Better World Books.com and they got to choose which books they wanted to order.

It’s so exciting for a child to be able to choose their own reading material, especially for a missionary kid who lives overseas and does not have daily access to books in their own language.

This MK in West Africa just received some books about art, and immediately started coloring and drawing!

“We got the books and one little girl was so excited!! She has been drawing and drawing and drawing! And asking me to read the books over and over! One day when she become a famous artist, I will have her paint a picture of you!!!

Books for MKs is a Protestant Christian not-for-profit organization, dedicated to donating books to Missionary Kids on the mission field. We currently mail books to over 140 missionary children! There is no cost to the missionary family at all, and the books are theirs to keep.  It is a free gift!

For the next three days, Books for MKs is holding a fundraiser together with Usborne Books!

 

Help us reach our goal for donations and Usborne Books will match 50% of donations in free books for the MKs!  This offer expires on Tuesday at midnight, so we need to raise funds quickly!
