Here’s a list of the classic books which I own. I skip over most of them, and just give the really good ones though. There are way too many to actually list the entire 4 shelves.
Bookshelf Tour: Children’s Classic Books
A list of the classic Children’s books I have on my shelves.
Book Review of Caddie Woodlawn
“Caddie Woodlawn” by Carol Ryrie Brink has always been one of my favorite books, and I’m excited to mail it out to some MKs, who I think will really enjoy reading it.
Hound of the Baskervilles Review and Discussion
If you are reading “Hound of the Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, please leave a comment! What was your favorite part of the book? Who is your favorite character? Are you afraid of dogs after reading it?
Bookshelf Tour: Children’s and YA
This is a list of my favorite books in the Children’s and Young Adult genres. I skip over a lot of the ones I own, b/c it just takes too long to say them all. These are all books I recommend for kids to read!
Coming next: the Children’s Classics section.
Bookshelf Tour: Poetry and Mystery
This is a list of all my favorite books in the Poetry and Mystery Genres. Comment below if you have read any of them!
September Book Haul
These are the books I bought at a library book sale! Some of them are my own, but about 50 of these are for donating to MKs. If you are an MK, you can request any of the donation books you see on this video!
Please comment if you have read any of these. What are your favorites?
Book Packages Mailed out in Sept.
This is a list of the books I mailed out to MKs in September. The postage ended up being way more than I had anticipated. Apparently, if you send books internationally, you don’t get the regular Media Mail rate at the Post Office. Urgh.
So I’m having to pay for postage out of my own pocket right now. Please please DONATE at http://www.gofundme.com, so that we can keep the books flowing out to these kids around the world!
We are Growing!
We’ve had several more missionary kids sign up to receive books! We now have 5 families getting books in Peru, Honduras, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. (South America seems to be popular this week. )
Three boxes of children’s books were donated last week! Many thanks to the local donor!
Another 51 books were purchased for donation at a library book sale this week.
Check out our YouTube Channel, ‘BooksforMKs‘, to see a list of the books purchased, and a list of the book packages being sent out to South American and Carribean MKs.
