Mother Carey’s Chickens
This is a book trailer made with illustrations from the 1930 edition of Mother Carey’s Chickens by Kate Douglas Wiggin, published by Riverside Press/ Houghton Mifflin Co.
The illustrations are so beautiful, they really enhance my enjoyment of the book!
Christmas Book Tree
I found this idea on Pinterest to make a Christmas Tree out of books! I had to take it down and put it back up about 3 times, but i finally got it looking a bit like a tree. You have to have an engineering degree to get this right! Look for the falling book at 1:30. It was exhausting hauling all the books around, but sooooooo much fun!!!
If you try it out, please link your video or photo below in the comments. I would love to see if your tree turns out better than mine! Merry Christmas!

This is a list of my favorite books in the Children’s and Young Adult genres. I skip over a lot of the ones I own, b/c it just takes too long to say them all. These are all books I recommend for kids to read!
