Workman Advent Calendars

Gnome for the Holidays Advent Calendar
by Workman Calendars, Anita Ashfield-Salter

5 out of 5 stars

This advent calendar includes adorable gnome ornaments for each day until Christmas!

You can hang the ornaments on your tree with the gold cord provided. The gold cord is a long string that you can cut into smaller sections to hang the ornaments separately, or you can string the ornaments all together for a long garland.

I love the artwork and the designs for the gnomes! They looks so cute and festive! Each gnome has a funny little phrase written behind them with a Christmas holiday message.

The best thing about this advent calendar is that it’s reusable, and you can bring out the gnomes year after year to decorate your tree!

The Story of Christmas Story Book Set and Advent Calendar
by Mary Packard (Illustrations)

5 out of 5 stars

This advent calendar includes little book ornaments for each day until Christmas! Each booklet has four tiny pages that tell part of the story of Christmas, starting with the Angel Gabriel appearing to Mary and ending with Christ’s birth in Bethlehem. The shepherds and wise men are included in the story as well, along with King Herod, Joseph’s dream, and the prophecy of the coming of the Messiah.

You can hang the ornaments on your tree with the gold cord provided, and read part of the story each day until Christmas Eve. I really like that the gold cord is already attached to the book ornaments, so you don’t have to fiddle with tying up tiny bits of cord.

I love the artwork and the designs for the books! They look so cute and festive! The case even has a map of Palestine showing where Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Nazareth are. The case also has quotes from Micah, Isaiah, and the book of John in the Bible.

The best thing about this advent calendar is that it’s reusable, and you can bring out the books year after year to decorate your tree and tell the Christmas story in a memorable way!
