Merriam Webster’s Activity Mysteries: Please Don’t Laugh, We Lost a Giraffe!
by Tish Rabe (Goodreads Author)

5 out of 5 stars

Merriam and Webster are best friends. They visit Wildlife World, and the park ranger asks for their help. There is a giraffe missing! They must follow the clues and solve the puzzles to search for the giraffe. They ask the animals for help, and track the giraffe through all kinds of terrain.

This is such a cool book! There are tons of different puzzles, word searches, crosswords, and mazes. Most of the puzzles are word-based. You have to spell something or match synonyms or make new words from random letters. If you get stuck, all the answers are in the back of the book. There is a page of animal stickers at the back too!

Every page is so colorful and bright! I really like the illustrations and the way the puzzles are designed to fit into the scenery.

In addition to all the fun puzzles, the story itself is interesting too! There are a lot of obstacles to overcome and clues to follow before Merriam and Webster can locate the missing giraffe.
