He ignores his family and the responsibilities of his life, focused only on acquiring more of the drug so that he can discover the fate of the beautiful Lady Isolda in Medieval Cornwall.

She hopes that these visits to the past will provide answers, but the more Maya finds out about her family, the more questions she has.

But the magic that allowed Miri to travel through time is unpredictable, and it will take a special perspective for Molly and Miri to unravel the mysteries of time before it’s too late.

I liked the plot and the adorable characters! Miri is so relatable and sweet, and Molly is quite brave in the face of her terrible relatives.
The plot is not amazingly mind-blowing, but it kept my interest and I liked the interesting magic system that allowed Miri to travel through time. Continue reading →

This is my review of the entire “So Close To You” trilogy by Rachel Carter. These books are a YA time travel story with adventure, intrigue, secret government conspiracies, romance, and of course time travel!  I gave them all 4 out of 5 stars. So much love!
