And an honorable mention to Molly and Cynthia, who are stepsisters in “Wives and Daughters” by Elizabeth Gaskell ! They aren’t technically siblings, but they get credit for being so sweet to each other. They may not share DNA, but they share their hearts. Aawww….

“Cheaper by the Dozen” and “Belles on Their Toes” by Frank Gilbreth, Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey

So beautiful!

The new movies with the title “Cheaper by the Dozen” are nothing at all like the books, and are perfectly awful. However the old 1950 movies of both “Cheaper by the Dozen” and “Belles on Their Toes” are pretty close to the original books, and very enjoyable.
