The Reverse Coloring Book™: The Book Has the Colors, You Draw the Lines!

This is such a creative idea! With all the swirling colors on the page, it will really spark your imagination in a new way when you have to put in the lines and bring clarity to the page. I am so impressed with this beautiful book!

This whole book is so bright and attractive! Most of the pages are just random swirls of color. Some of the pages are very obviously flowers, but it would be interesting to challenge yourself to make it look like something other than flowers, or add little details of animals and insects into the scene as well.

Puzzle Train Reviews: Christmas and Alphabet

Puzzle Train Alphabet by David W. Miles

Puzzle Train Alphabet

5 out of 5 stars
This adorable puzzle goes through all the letters of the alphabet with beautiful illustrations of animals and items that begin with each letter. The puzzle creates one long train with the alligator conductor at the front driving the engine of the train.

Each letters connects to the next one by some action taken or item shared between them. “Newt naps in the nest for Owl. Owl orders oatmeal for Pig. Pig plays piano for Quail.” I love that this gives the child a clue about which letter of the alphabet should come next, and they can find the correct puzzle piece.

Waldo and his friends are surrounded by hundreds of Santas in costume. There are a lot of festive activities going on as the Santas prepare for the big sleigh ride. And somewhere in the chaos of reindeer, presents, and Christmas trees, Waldo is hiding among all the red and white. However, each scene is covered by a dark screen, and you have to use the spotlight search tool, a handy cardboard wand, to “light up” the scenes.

There are dinosaurs, flowers, embroidery, banners, planets, lions and tigers, balloons, yoga, typewriters, ice cream, pigs, bees, cups of coffee, cats, vegetables and fruit, sweaters, and birds. And a happy little avocado dude who dances.

I am just amazed at the variety of stickers in this book! These stickers could apply to almost any situation. Even if your mood is…. “mood”. There’s a sticker for that.

This 1,000-piece puzzle is beautifully designed and thoughtfully crafted. The puzzle comes with a little 9″x6″ poster of the art, so that you can use it as a little poster, put the art in a frame, or use it to help you complete the puzzle. I was especially impressed to see that the backs of the puzzle pieces also have a little repetitive design of some blue flowers. It’s delightful to see little details like that which make this puzzle really special and show the exceptional craftmanship and careful thought that went into the design and manufacture of the product.
