Brain Quest Workbook Series

by Workman Publishing

5 out of 5 stars

These books have colorful activity pages for children to review their knowledge of spelling, reading, math, and science. Once the book is complete, you get an award certificate. There is a whole page of fun stickers that you can place on the progress poster to keep track of when you finish each chapter!

The sections include reading, math, spelling, writing, history, and science. There is also a section for measuring objects, and another section about technology. The Kindergarten book has a section for learning to tell time and to count money. One science section talks about measuring objects, and learning the phases of the moon. The second grade book teaches cursive writing too! In the later grades, there is even a section about Probability and Data that explores different charts and graphs to calculate probability. I also liked seeing the maps in the Geography sections.

There are answers in the back of the book to check your work. You can cut out the set of flashcards in the back of the book for testing your knowledge further.

These books have so many cool features! Every single page is full of brightly colored illustrations and information boxes. The activities are really interesting and fun!
