4 out of 5 stars

This choose-your-own-adventure book leads the reader through the amazing sights of New York City. You start at the Statue of Liberty, and you can choose to go through Central Park, Coney Island, Chinatown, Little Italy, The Strand Bookstore, Grand Central Station, Yankee Stadium, and a dozen other famous places. You can grab a taxi, take the subway, and stop for pizza, until your adventure ends on the top of the Empire State Building.

This book is full of cool facts and statistics, and even has a fold-out map at the back of the book! I loved the bright illustrations that really capture the magic of New York, the hustle and bustle of the streets, and the beauty of the parks. The cartoon people race around the city doing all the touristy things with energy and delight.
