5 out of 5 stars

Henry has been magically thrown forward in time from 1916, and the evil Bloor family want their revenge on him. Charlie Bone and his friends have to find a way to return Henry to his own time, or at least get Henry away from the Bloors.

I love this whole series! The imaginative characters and suspenseful plot kept me enchanted through the entire book. I just love Charlie more and more, and this book was particularly interesting because now he has a much bigger team of friends with powerful abilities to back him up.

I especially love that in this second book of the series we get to know Tancred much better as he struggles to control his ability to create weather. His emotions create storms that he can’t control, and I love seeing that internal struggle as he matures and learns to control his emotions and his powers. Such a brilliant character!
